Grain Alliance elevator received 50 thou. t of new crop corn

Pyriatyn elevator of Grain Alliance received 52 thou. t of new crop corn. Simultaneously, the company is carrying out sunflower shipment. The total storage capacity of the facility has exceeded 100 thou. t. Grain storage practice in polyethylene sleeves is preserved by the company since 2018. Thus, 25 thou. t of corn is stored in such sleeves.

"The elevator has received 52 thou. t of corn and 25 thou. t of sunflower crop. Earlier we had received 12 thou. t of wheat, which was already shipped to customers," noted Volodymyr Klepach, Director of the elevator.

As reported, the elevator has three grain reception points from motor transport having a daily capacity of 2-3 thou. t of grain. The elevator receives three different crops concurrently.

In early 2019, the company considered the increase of its elevator storage capacity. The expansion of the farmland volume caused this necessity.
