Grain export 2019/20: 25 mln t of staple grains delivered to foreign markets

Since the start of 2019/20, Ukraine has exported 25.56 mln t of staple grains. As of December 4th, commodities shipment increased by 6.65 mln t from the comparative period of the previous year, the information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine reports.
The grain export structure in the reporting period is as follows:
- wheat — 13.59 mln t (4.17 mln t more y-o-y);
- barley — 3.5 mln t (476 thou. t more y-o-y);
- corn — 8.14 mln t (2.04 mln t more y-o-y);
- rye — 5 thou. t (62 thou. t less y-o-y).
Previously reported that after a sharp jump, the price of wheat on world exchanges resumed its decline under the pressure of abundant supply amid low demand.
