Grain export 2019/20: corn shipment 2 mln t higher YoY

Ukrainian seaports have shipped 26 mln t of staple grains for export since the start of 2019/20. As of December 6th, commodities shipment increased by 6.79 mln t from the comparative period of the previous year, the information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine reports.

The grain export structure in the reporting period is as follows:

  • wheat — 13.73 mln t (4.27 mln t more y-o-y);
  • barley — 3.51 mln t (475 thou. t more y-o-y);
  • corn — 8.44 mln t (2.07 mln t more y-o-y);
  • rye — 5 thou. t (61 thou. t less y-o-y).

Earlier it was reported that oilseed crops export from the beginning of the current marketing year had reached 4.5 mln t vs. 2.7 mln t in the corresponding period of 2018/19.
