AgroVista delivered over 115 thou. t of grains to ports in 2019

Svitlovodsk River Terminal of AgroVista group of companies transported more than 115 thou. t of agricultural products to the ports of Kherson and Mykolaiv.

Most grains were transshipped to sea vessels for further shipment on CIF basis to consumers in Turkey, Cyprus, Italy, Lebanon, Israel. The company notes that corn accounted for 90% of cargo, among other cargoes handled are wheat, barley, rapeseed, sunflower meal.

"Svetlovodsk was and still is the major port for the fleet of AgroVista. In 2019, transshipment was also conducted at the river elevators of Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions," the report says.

The fleet of the river terminal consists of 2 tugs and 4 non-self-propelled barges.

As a reminder, Ukrainian seaports have shipped 32.57 mln t of staple grains for export since the beginning of 2019/20. As of Jan.14, commodities shipment increased by 7.43 mln t from the comparative period of the previous year.
