Tymofiy Mylovanov ready to chair the Agrarian Ministry in case of its reestablishment

The Minister for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine Tymofiy Mylovanov supports the establishment of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine once the land reform is implemented, he announced in the interview with Ukraine 24.

"I approve the creation of a new Ministry of Agrarian Policy. Earlier Minagroprod was engaged in two things — appointment of managers to state enterprises, and the second — corruption in the state support distribution system. We ended that. So there was nothing to save in that ministry," said Tymofiy Mylovanov.

He says he feels responsible for the reform of the land market, so at this stage of a hypothetical separation of the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture, he would head Minagroprod.

Previously, Tymofiy Mylovanov named IT, agriculture, chemical production and pharmaceutics as the most successful sectors of the Ukrainian economy.
