Land market price in Ukraine estimated at USD 1000-3000 per hectare once tradable

The price of land in Ukraine will vary from USD 1000 to USD 3000 per hectare after the land market is opened. This was announced by Maryan Zablotskyy, MP from the Sluga Narodu party, in the interview with AgroPolit.com.

He noted that the lands the people would want to purchase will cost USD 2200-3000 per hectare.

"The price depends much on the region. In western Ukraine, small land plots larger than 1-2 hectares should not be sold for USD 2000. In the central part, where land plots are about 5 hectares one can receive up to USD 10000. It is a completely different financial decision," said Maryan Zablotskyy.

Previously reported that the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal stressed the land market must be open primarily for the citizens of Ukraine.
