Kernel donated UAH 95 mln to coronavirus relief efforts in Poltava in Kirovohrad regions

Kernel pledged UAH 95 mln for urgent purchase of medical equipment, medications, personal protective equipment and disinfectants for hospitals in Poltava and Kirovohrad regions.

"As a socially responsible company, Kernel cannot ignore the fact that the country needs support. We are directly involved in large-scale works to fight against coronavirus to be sure that medical institutions are ready to provide timely qualified assistance to residents of the regions. Operational headquarters have been set up to coordinate the situation on the spot," said Yevgeny Osipov, CEO of Kernel.

He also mentioned that together with Poltava and Kirovohrad regional state administrations a comprehensive program of support for medical institutions has been developed.

"We have already allocated UAH 150 mln to curb the epidemic in Ukraine. As long as our country is at risk, while hospitals lack medical equipment and doctors lack personal protective equipment, we will provide both financial and coordination assistance," commented Yevgeny Osipov.

The company says that the program is not bound to the needs of medical institutions in Poltava and Kirovohrad regions. Kernel allocates funds and efforts to support doctors in all regions of its presence.

Previously the company informed about the provision of UAH 55 mln for the urgent purchase of express tests to diagnose coronavirus.
