Egypt cancelled another vegetable oils tender for high prices

Egypt's General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) cancelled another tender for the purchase of vegetable oils for the high offer prices, the APK-Inform consultancy writes.

Sunflower oil offers presented at the tender:

• Hakan Agro: 10 thou. t at 779.9 USD/t payable immediately and 788.7 USD/t payable within 180 days
• Glencore: 30 thou. t at 768 and 774 USD/t payable immediately and within 180 days, respectively
• ADM: 10 thou. t at 777 and 783 USD/t, and/or 30 thou. t of soybean oil at 746 and 746 USD/t
• Aston: 11 thou. t of sunflower oil at 772 and 781.8 USD/t, and/or 30 thou. t of soybean oil at 735.45 and 746.45 USD/t

As a reminder, the previous tender in mid-June was called off for the same reason.
