Glencore authorized for acquisition of OREXIM terminal

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) authorized a Glencore International subsidiary, Renaisco BV (Rotterdam, Netherlands), for the acquisition of an equity stake in OREXIM sea port terminal Everi in the port of Mykolaiv.
The relevant acquisition provides for an excess of 50% of votes in the supreme governing body of the company.
According to the YouControl analytical system, Cyprus-based OREXIM is the ultimate beneficial owner of Everi terminal.
As of March 2018, the terminal's total transshipment capacity stood at 1.6 mln t.
As a reminder, Glencore is one of the largest shippers of corn from Ukraine in the 2019/20 season.
