Maxigrain Ukraine terminal transshipment grew to 300 thou. t in 2019/20

Maxigrain Ukraine terminal in Kherson region provided for the transshipment of 309 thou. t of grain crops and products of their processing in 2019/20, the company informs on Facebook.
The terminal processed in the reporting period:
- 9080 motor vehicles
- 617 wagon cars
- 606 barges
- 76 coaster and handysize vessels
"This season we increased the capacity of rail cars reception to 20 per day, which allows us to process the route deliveries within 48 hours. At the end of June 2020, new warehouses were put into operation providing for storage of 60 thou. t of grain and processed products. We cooperate with large international trading companies and manufacturers every year, thus confirming our impeccable reputation," the company says in a statement.
Previously reported that corn preserved its leading position in terms of shipment volume — 29.67 mln t accounting for a half (49.4%) of the total grain exports in 2019/20.
