Corn exports in Jan-Aug total over USD 3 bln

In January-August 2020, corn export shipment from Ukraine totalled 19.14 mln t for the amount of USD 3.24 bln, the data of the State Customs Service show.
The volume of corn exported in 8M 2020 is 14.5% lower YoY.
Key importing countries in the indicated period:
- China: USD 726.77 mln, 22.44% of the total supply
- Netherlands: USD 437.13 mln, 10.72%
- Egypt: USD 334.15 mln, 10.32%
- others: USD 1.83 bln, 56.52%
Corn stocks in Ukraine as of Sep 1 amounted to 1.13 mln t, 22% lower from last year's volume (Sep 1, 2019: 1.27 mln t).
