Sunflower production highest in Kharkiv region, campaign finalized at 2.81 t/ha in Poltava region

As of October 19, sunflower harvesting in Ukraine reached 10.9 mln t having covered 5.5 thou. ha or 87% of the planned areas (6.38 mln ha), the Harvest Online 2020 data show.
Sunflower yields 1.96 t/ha on average since the start of the campaign. All regions of Ukraine have started harvesting this oilseed crop.

The highest harvesting pace was achieved in Kirovohrad and Kherson regions — 97%, Luhansk and Kharkiv 94%, Donetsk 93%, Mykolaiv 92% and Sumy 91%.
