Astarta's sugar realized price in 4Q20 surged 37%

Astarta-Kyiv agri-industrial holding increased sugar sales in 4Q 2020 by 33% to 81.18 thou. t on the prior year's comparative period (4Q 2019: 60.87 thou. t). The average realized price grew by 37% to 13.24 UAH/t.

Wheat sales slashed by 82% from 36.44 thou. t in 4Q 2019 to 6.65 thou. t 4Q 2020. Corn sales increased by 17% from 251.41 thou. t in 4Q 2019 to 294.56 thou. t in the reporting period. Wheat average realized price grew by 34% to 5.69 thou. UAH/t, corn by 19% to 4.86 thou. UAH/t.

Sunflower trading was reduced by 38% to 31.71 thou. t (4Q19: 51.3 thou. t). The average realized price went up by 22% to 10.16 thou. UAH/t.

Soybean oil sales fell by 20% YoY to 8.51 thou. t, soybean meal to 39.38 thou. t or 12% lower from 4Q19. The average realized price progressed 49 and 51%, respectively.

The dairy segment achieved a 2% progress in 4Q20. Sales of milk amounted to about 22.3 thou. t, 2% higher from 4Q19, 72.24 thou. t. The average price added 10% and amounted to 11.13 thou. UAH/t.
