Wheat production in Ukraine projected higher in 2021/22: June USDA report
USDA projects a 0.5 mln t higher wheat production in Ukraine in 2021/22(July 2021-June 2022) — at 29.5 mln t. In its June report, the Agriculture Department forecasts the export of wheat from Ukraine at 20.5 mln t, 0.5 mln t up from the May report.
Wheat ending stocks in Ukraine in 2021/22 are projected to reach 1.55 mln t, which is flat mth/mth.
The world wheat production forecast for 2021/22 was improved by 5.46 mln t to 794.44 mln t. Export projection grew by 0.8 mln t to 203.22 mln t.

China's wheat production projection remained at 136 mln t, import at 10 mln t, ending stocks were revised upward by 0.2 mln t to 142.63 mln t.
As of June 9, wheat export from Ukraine dropped by 21% to 16.04 mln t. In the 2020/21 season, wheat shipment from Ukraine is limited to 17.5 mln t.
