Sowing Online 2020/21: key corn production regions in Ukraine

As of June 10, corn planting in Ukraine was completed on 5,342.88 mln ha or 100% of the projected 5.327,3 mln ha.
Under the data of the Sowing Online 2020/21 project, the corn area in Ukraine in the current crop year increased by 399.9 thou. ha, 8% up YoY (2020: 4,927.4 mln ha).
Top 10 regions in terms of corn sown area in 2021 (thou. ha):

Spring grain and leguminous crops were planted on 7.46 mln ha in Ukraine as of June 10, which makes up 99% of the planned 7.52 mln ha.
Corn production in Ukraine is projected by the USDA at 37.5 mln t in 2021/22.
