Land sales transactions most active in two regions of Ukraine: Agrarian Ministry

In the first six days since the start(1 July 2021) of the farmland market in Ukraine, 322 land sale transactions were registered, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports.

The number of land-related transactions is the highest in Vinnytsya and Poltava regions, 39 each. A single transaction was signed in Mykolaiv region, and two in Zaporizhzhya.

As of July 6, a total of 2,529 applications were received from notaries, of which 2,377 were approved and 335 rejected. Notaries are accessing the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre (StateGeoCadastre) in a standard way.

The number of land sale transactions in regions as of July 6:

  • Vinnytsya: 39
  • Poltava: 39
  • Dnipropetrovsk: 35
  • Kyiv 31:
  • Zhytomyr: 19
  • Cherkasy: 19
  • Kharkiv: 17
  • Sumy: 15
  • Rivne: 14

Previously reported that Agrotrade, an agricultural holding operating in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy and Chernihiv regions, purchased land shares on the launch day of the land market in Ukraine.

The StateGeocadastre projected the cost of farmland in Ukraine upon land market opening with the highest being traded in Cherkasy region and the lowest in Chernihiv.
