Harvest Online 2021: first million tons of new crop grain harvested in Ukraine

As of 8 July, agriproducers in Ukraine harvested 1.4 mln t of new crop grain on 369 thou. ha, 2% of the projected area. Early grain crops yield 3.71 t/ha on average.

Under the data of the project Harvest Online 2021, early grains bulk yield:

• winter barley: 1 mln t on 265 thou. ha (11% of the total area), using the average yield of 3.93 t/ha
• winter wheat: 326 thou. t on 103 thou. ha (2%), using the avg. yield of 3.15 t/ha

New crop campaign started in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson and Poltava regions.

Farms of Kherson region harvested 20% of the planned areas using the avg. yield of 3.34 t/ha. The highest avg. yield was reached in Poltava region, 5.34 t/ha.

Cherkasy region started harvesting two weeks later than planned.

Continental Farmers Group (CFG) is harvesting winter barley with a slight delay.
