Ukraine's wheat crop perspectives in 2021/22 improved by 0.5 mln t: July USDA report
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) projects another increase by 0.5 mln t in wheat production in Ukraine in 2021/22(July 2021-June 2022) to reach 30 mln t. In its July report, the Agriculture Department forecasts the export of wheat from Ukraine at 21 mln t, 0.5 mln t up from the June report.
Wheat ending stocks in Ukraine in 2021/22 are projected to reach 1.7 mln t, 10% above the previous estimate (1.55 mln t).
The world wheat production forecast for 2021/22 was cut by 2.04 mln t to 792.4 mln t. Export projection grew by 0.77 mln t to 203.99 mln t. Wheat ending stocks projection was improved by 10% to 1.7 mln t (June report: 1.55 mln t).

China's wheat production projection remained at 136 mln t, import at 10 mln t, ending stocks remained flat mth/mth at 142.63 mln t.
As of July 12, wheat export shipment from Ukraine reached 210 thou. t, 32% higher YoY.
The UGA informed about 48.8 mln t of grains and oilseeds export from Ukraine in the 2020/21 season.
As of 8 July, the new crop campaign in Ukraine progressed to 1.4 mln t.
