Epicentr Agro vested USD 52 mln in 370 thou. t grain elevator

A reconstructed elevator complex of Epicentr Agro has started receiving, drying late crops at the company's Vinnytsya Grain Elevator.

The current total storage capacity of this facility is 375 thou. t. The total investment in the construction of the second (68 thou. t) and third phase (207 thou. t) of Vinnytsya Grain Elevator of Epicentr Agro summed USD 52 mln.

The head of Epicentr Agro head office and elevator business Svetlana Nikityuk marks that through the implementation of the company's investment program in the development of Ukraine's grain market infrastructure, the storage capacity of Vinnytsya Grain Elevator has more than doubled, by 207 thou. t.

According to the president of the equipment supplier, Feerum S.A., Daniel Janusz, Vinnytsya is a unique area for relief, the railroad line that runs through its center, and the need to service the fire roads.

Svetlana Nikityuk adds that in total Epicentr K Group has invested more than UAH 6 bln during 2018-21 in the investment program for the development and reconstruction of line elevator complexes.

In spring, the company informed about plans to construct two 280 thou. t grain storages in Khmelnytsky region.
