Grain stolen by russian occupants in Ukraine spotted in Mediterranean: intelligence service

russian occupants continue transporting food stolen in Ukraine to the territory of russia and temporary occupied Crimea. The grain stolen from Ukraine is already in the Mediterranean Sea, the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reports.

It is noted that in Polohy of Zaporizhzhya region, grain and sunflowerseeds in storage facilities are being shipped for subsequent transportation to russia. Also, a convoy of russian KAMAZ and DAF trucks loaded with grain left Energodar towards Kamenka Dniprovska under military guard. The final destination of the convoy is temporary occupied Crimea.

In the village of Volokhiv Yar in Kharkiv region, collaborators help the occupants remove grain from the granaries. Grain trucks are heading for the Russian border. 1,500 tons of grain was removed from Mala Lepetykha in Kherson region to the occupied Crimea. There are reports that besides grain, the occupants are also removing large volumes of vegetables stolen in Ukraine, incl. beetroot, potatoes and cabbage to Crimea.

"So far it is known that a significant part of the grain stolen from Ukraine is on vessels sailing under the russian flag in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The most likely destination of the cargo is Syria. The grain can be smuggled from there to other countries of the Middle East," the statement reads.

Previously Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskiy stated that practically all ships sailing from Sevastopol, a port in the temporary occupied Crimea, are loaded with stolen Ukrainian grain.
