Continental’s trading division plans to export up to 1.4 million tons of Ukrainian and Romanian grain by year end
In the first nine months of 2025, the trading division of Continental Farmers Group exported around 600,000 tons of grain, AgroTimes reports.
By the end of the year, the company plans to increase total exports to 1.2–1.4 million tons. Of this volume, approximately 1.1 million tons will be of Ukrainian origin, while another 200,000–300,000 tons will come from Romania.
Continental’s trading division works with wheat, barley, soybeans, corn, and rapeseed.
The company began with exporting Ukrainian products but has simultaneously been expanding its procurement activities in other countries to strengthen its position on the global market.
“This is not a super-profitable business, but we know how to make it work. Our goal is not just to sell — it is to create added value for farmers and ensure stable supplies for our clients,” said Georg von Nolcken, CEO of Continental Farmers Group.
