NIBULON to construct reloading terminals in Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk regions

NIBULON plans to build reloading terminals in Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk regions before the start of harvesting campaign 2018.

New enterprises will be built with funds of the European Investment Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The company reports that NIBULON continues implementing the investment program, within the framework of which it plans to build at least 10 river transshipment terminals on the banks of the Dnieper, the Southern Bug and other navigable rivers of Ukraine.

Within the framework of this program, the CEO of NIBULON, Alexei Vadatursky and the company's leading specialists in the field of construction and hydraulic engineering facilities, energy, ecology and land relations, paid a working visit to Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk regions.

"In Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk regions, a lot of work is already under way to restore the road surface on the motorways. But the implementation of our investment program will help to solve this problem radically. After all, the main goal of the program is to relieve and save the roads of Ukraine due to the reorientation of cargo. Annually we transport more than 2 million tons of grain by rivers. In the next marketing year, we plan to transport on the Dnieper 3 million tons of grain, and therefore we will relieve Ukrainian roads from more than 125,000 trucks and save budget funds for road repairs," said Alexei Vadatursky.

Reference: completion of the elevator complex in the territory of the NIBULON reloading terminal in Nikolaev is scheduled for mid-February, and the reconstruction of the cargo berth — until March 1, 2018.
