Continental Farmers negotiate Mriya Agroholding takeover

Continental Farmers Group is negotiating takeover of Mriya Agroholding.

This was informed to Latifundist.com by sources in the market, who wished to remain anonymous.

"Continental Farmers consider buying Mriya's assets, negotiations are now under way with the management of the agricultural holding. The final decision has not yet been taken," the source said.

According to another source, the current price offered by Continental Farmers does not suit Mriya yet. He also added that Kernel is still interested in acquiring Mriya.

Reference: in January 2017, Kernel was interested in Mriya's assets. Mriya, after consulting with the Creditors Committee, decided to reject all offers. Kernel later bought Agro Invest Ukraine and Ukrainian Agrarian Investments, thereby becoming the largest latifundist of Ukraine.

Note: Continental Farmers Group (Isle of Man) with assets in Ukraine and Poland has been operating on the Ukrainian market since 2006. The main beneficiary is United Farmers Holding Company (UFHC) (Saudi Arabia). The Continental Farmers Group includes Agro LV Limited and Agromark UK.
