UkrLandFarming projects a good harvest of winter wheat and rapeseed

The Black Sea cluster of the UkrLandFarming Group of Companies reported on grain harvesting. This summer the cluster has already harvested 77,8 thou. tons of winter wheat from the area of 24 thou. hectares and 21,5 thou. tons of winter rapeseed from 7.76 thou. hectares.

Wheat productivity stands at 3.24 tons/ha, rapeseed — 2.77 tons/ha.

The yield of crops is above the average in Ukraine, which is the reason for a positive productivity forecast for winter crops in the country.

Cropping is carried out in 6 districts of Kherson region, in the risky farming zone. At the same time, the company's 11-year experience and application of the latest technologies provided for harvesting results at the level of agro-companies in other regions of Ukraine.

"This year we forecast a good harvest of winter wheat and rapeseed in all regions of Ukraine where UkrLandFarming is presented. Rapeseed is our strategic culture, and we are pleased with the yield indicators. Despite the harsh weather conditions and the lack of rain since April, and thanks to our experience and new technologies for land cultivation and plants treatment, we have reached the planned indicators. The output is almost 99%. Next year, we plan to increase planting areas under rapeseed by 15 thou. hectares," says the Director of the Black Sea cluster Vladimir Yarovoi.
