Agroton looking to buy Kernel elevator

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) is considering the application of the agricultural production company Agroton for the purchase of the Siversky elevator (Donetsk region).
Agroton filed an application for the purchase of corporate rights of Siversky elevator, which exceeds 50% of the votes in the management bodies.
According to the analytical system YouControl, the holding company of the Siversky elevator is Kernel-Trade. Siversky elevator was registered on June 6, 2018.
Previously it was reported that the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) considers the provision of a USD 48 mln credit facility for Kernel. The investments are aimed at agribusiness infrastructure.
