UkrLandFarming completed winter crops planting

The UkrLandFarming agroholding completed the sowing campaign of winter crops on time, despite the abnormally dry weather established in the territory of Ukraine, UNIAN reports.

“Due to the abnormally dry weather this autumn, winter crops sowing campaign was completed on time. Almost all farms, with the exception of the southern regions, finished field works in mid-October,” commented Victor Spassky, Deputy Director General for Agricultural Production.

At the same time, the Director for Agricultural Production informed that the lack of precipitation contributed to the dynamic progress of the sowing campaign, but there were difficulties with tillage after harvesting the preceding crops.

According to him, 97% of the crops have seedlings and are in good condition.
