Optimusagro certified for barley exports to PRC

On June 14, 2019, Nikopol Elevator of Optimusargo Trade successfully passed the certification for compliance with the requirements of the Protocol on Phytosanitary and Inspection Requirements as for the Export of Barley from Ukraine to the People’s Republic of China.

“The certification will allow the company to expand the range of importers, open new markets for barley sell, while guaranteeing the highest quality of grain, which is supported by a favourable price situation for barley in China. It will also enable commodity producers to get higher prices for barley from exporters when delivered to the PRC than in other trading areas,” said Dmitry Bosyi, Director of Nikopol Elevator.

In the near future, all the elevators of Optimusargo are planning to obtain the relevant certificates for exporting barley, corn and soybeans to China.

As reported earlier, enterprises of the State Agency of Ukraine Reserve are fully prepared to receive the 2019/20 harvest. In the near future, they will announce the procedures for the purchase of new crop grain.
