Saudi Arabia procured 0,9 mmt of barley

Saudi Grains Organisation (SAGO) purchased 900 thou. tons of barley with delivery in August-October 2019, APK-Inform writes.
As specified, the grain with delivery to the Red Sea ports was contracted in consignments of 60 thou. tons each on the basis of C&F with the following operators:
- Lecureur — at $186.99 (with delivery on August 15-30), $189.95 (October 1-15);
- Glencore — $189.67 (August 15-30), $191.14; $193.09 (September 1-15), $193.96 (October 1-15);
- NIBULON — $191.55 (August 15-30);
- Louis Dreyfus Company — $193.25 (August 15-30);
- ADM Hellas — $188.88 (September 1-15), $190.88 (September 15-30);
- GrainCorp — $192.49 (September 1-15);
- CBH Grain — $195.20 (September 1-15).
Barley with delivery to the ports of the Persian Gulf was also purchased in consignments of 60 thou. tons each on the C&F basis from Dreyfus operators at $199.95 (with delivery on September 1-15), Soufflet — at $205.75 (September 1-15) and ADM Hellas — at $201.88 (October 15-30).
As previously reported, in the period of June 15-21, grain shipment from the Ukrainian seaports reached 759 thou. tons, 28 percent up from the previous week (592 thou. tons).
