SunGrant Plus purchased 100 grain rail cars for Pology OEP

Pology Oil Extraction Plant received 50 new grain rail cars purchased by its business-partner SunGrant Plus, the subsidiary enterprise with foreign investment.

The company purchased 100 rail cars as part of an agreement with the plant. In the near future, 50 more grain rail cars will be supplied.

The company noted that this step was taken in order to prevent the problems of raw materials and finished products (meals) delivery to the country's ports and to the final buyer abroad.

"Previously, the company carried out commodity transportation by rail, renting cars from private companies and from Ukrzaliznytsia. But constant increase of transportation tariffs, problems in logistics of railway transportation and inappropriate technical condition of the rail car fleet created problems in reliable and safe delivery of products (especially meal) to the end user. Along with the increase in the cost of rent of rail cars the issue of reliability and safety of products in the process of transportation has arisen," the message says.

Previously reported that NIBULON would expand its own fleet of grain carriers, the first series of which had already been received.
