Grain export 2019/20: supplies up 1.5x

Since the start of 2019/20, Ukraine delivered to foreign markets 6.98 million tons of grain and leguminous crops. Commodities shipment increased 1.5x (2.22 million tons) from the prior year's comparative period, 4.73 million tons.
By the data of the Agrarian Ministry, grain exported volumes in the reporting period are as follows:
- wheat — 3.66 million tons (up 1.21 million tons y-o-y);
- barley — 1.63 million tons (up 436 thou. tons y-o-y);
- corn — 1.68 million tons (up 635 thou. tons y-o-y).
Rye was not shipped in the indicated period.
In the 2018/19 season, grain exports from Ukraine reached 49,74 million tons. This volume is 21 percent (10,37 million tons) higher from the indicator for the last year's comparative period (39,37 million tons).
