Ukrlandfarming grain storages received 1.2 mln t of new crop

Ukrlandfarming agricultural holding received 1.2 mln t of new crop grains and oilseeds, RBC reports. Currently, almost all crops except corn have been harvested in the fields of the agricultural holding, and harvesting is underway.

Vladimir Sushchenko, Deputy Director General for Elevator and Mixed Feed Production of Ukrlandfarming, informed that as of October 16 the company's grain elevators received grains, legumes and oilseeds from both own production branches and third-party suppliers.

"To be more precise, it is 1.213 mln t. Storage loading was carried out as scheduled. Of course, weather conditions also contributed to this. And the main thing is proper preparation of elevator complexes for the harvesting season. Now the largest grain elevators in the Ukrlandfarming's network, Agroterminal Construction and Elevator-Agro, receive 11 thou. t of grain each around the clock. The harvesting campaign continues," he added.

Earlier it was reported that in early September Ukrlandfarming's network of grain elevators received more than half a million tons of new crop grain for storage. This volume was 10% more from the relevant period last year.
