Wheat shipment since the start of 2019/20 up 45%

Since the start of 2019/20, Ukraine has exported 23.36 mln t of staple grains. As of November 25th, the commodities shipment increased by 6.11 mln t (35%) compared to the relevant period of the previous year, the information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine reports.

The grain export structure in the reporting period is as follows:

  • wheat — 13 mln t (4.03 mln t more y-o-y);
  • barley — 3.46 mln t (411 thou. t more y-o-y);
  • corn — 6.59 mln t (1.68 mln t more y-o-y);
  • rye — 5 thou. t (61 thou. t less y-o-y).

Previously reported that in the week of Nov. 16–22, staple grains shipment in Ukrainian seaports amounted to 1.36 mln t, which roughly corresponds to the previous week's figure (1.34 mln t).
