Astarta-Kyiv pledged UAH 15 mln for coronavirus relief efforts

By the end of Q1 2020, Astarta-Kyiv agri-industrial holding allocated UAH 15 mln to fight against the spread of coronavirus Covid-19.

"We procure and transfer equipment, tests, individual protective equipment, disinfectants and other necessary materials to healthcare institutions. To date, 24 hospitals in Poltava, Khmelnytsky, Vinnytsya, Zhytomyr, Ternopil, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions have received assistance. We have also purchased 15 ventilators and 5 oxygen concentrators. The delivery of this equipment is expected from abroad in April-May," the company said in a statement

Since mid-February, Astarta began introducing additional sanitary measures at all its enterprises. From Mar. 16, the maximum number of employees was transferred to remote work mode.

As a reminder, among the companies supporting relief efforts, are TIS, P&O Maritime and Neptune, MHP, NIBULON, Kernel and many others.
