Barley yields 5.2 t/ha in Sumy region

As of July 16, agrarians of Sumy region harvested 329.75 thou. t of early grain and leguminous crops (27.6% of the total) on 66.4 thou. ha. The crop yields 4.97 t/ha on average, the Sumy Region State Administration informs.
Barley harvesting covered 6.7 thou. ha or 17% of the planned: 34.85 thou. t of grain using the average yield of 5.2 t/ha. Winter wheat was harvested on 59.7 thou. ha (35%): 294.9 thou. t of grain, 4.94 t/ha.

Winter rapeseed was harvested on 1 thou. ha (9.3%): 4.1 thou. t using the average yield of 4 t/ha.
The wheat campaign in the current production year will cover 176.9 thou. ha, barley 39.3.
