Singapore allowed poultry products import from Ukraine's avian influenza free zones
Singapore competent authorities accepted regional zoning in Ukraine connected with avian influenza (bird flu), the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFSCP) reports.
Singapore Food Agency (SFA) recognized the principles of regionalization for poultry influenza in Ukraine (10-kilometre security zone).
The respective bilateral certificate forms have been revised and renegotiated, including the health certificate for exports of poultry meat and poultry products, edible eggs and egg products from Ukraine to Singapore.
Enterprises authorized to export poultry products to Singapore shall supply goods from poultry influenza free zones.
As a reminder, Ukraine is the third-largest poultry meat supplier to the EU in January-November 2020.
