Chicken meat export falling since year start

Poultry meat and edible co-products export shipment from Ukraine in the period January-February 2021 summed 56.08 thou. t, 15% less YoY (Jan-Feb 2020: 66.27 thou. t). The dollar value of chicken meat exported is USD 70.78 mln vs. USD 81.9 in Jan-Feb 2020, the State Customs Service of Ukraine data show.

Key markets for Ukrainian poultry products in the reporting period:

• Saudi Arabia: USD 32.23 mln, 45.4% of the total supply
• U.A.E.: USD 5.91 mln, 8.3%
• Kyrgyzstan: USD 3.54 mln, 5%
• Azerbaijan: USD 2.79 mln, 3.9%
• Turkey: USD 2.78 mln, 3.9%
