NIBULON CEO Alexey Vadatursky awarded Hero of the Year 2020 for contribution to public health amid pandemic

NIBULON CEO Alexey Vadatursky was recognized as the 2020 Hero of the Year in the 22nd annual citywide programme "Man of the Year. Citizen of the Year".

Alexey Vadatursky won the "Heroes of the Year Special Project" for the significant contribution to public health in the city community during the period of combating the coronavirus pandemic. In 2020, NIBULON allocated about UAH 100 mln for the development of health care in Ukraine.

To diagnose coronavirus COVID-19, the company set up a laboratory centre at the Mykolayiv regional laboratory centre of the Ukrainian Health Ministry, handing over equipment. It is noted that NIBULON reconstructed the Mykolaiv Regional Center for Infectious Diseases in 30 days. At the City Children's Hospital No 2, the company overhauled the medical gas supply system and created 38 new oxygen supply points for the wards.

At City Hospital No. 1 NIBULON carried out repairs and supplied equipment and set up a ward to treat COVID-19 patients with pathologies. The company organized the provision of protective suits for medical institutions across Ukraine.

Previously reported that the companies operating in seaports of Odesa region transferred UAH 46.4 mln to the national coronavirus COVID-19 foundation.
