Astarta's organic company shipped first soybean consignment

List-Ruchky LLC, a subsidiary of the agri-industrial holding Astarta-Kyiv specializing in organic crop production, exported the first consignment of organic soybean.

An agreement for the supply of organic soybeans was signed with the German processing company Agriprotein GmbH.

"Under the contract terms, the quality of the delivered products was confirmed in two stages. Before the contract was signed, the first soybean samples were selected and tested by Galab (Germany), which confirmed the organic origin and high quality of the products. The second stage of testing was conducted after the customer received the products, during which the organic status of the soybeans was once again proved," the company says in a statement.

Last year, Astarta-Kyiv completed a three-year transition period before harvesting its first crop of organic grains and oilseeds.
