Grain export 2021/22: wheat supply 10% down

Staple grains export shipment from Ukraine since the start of the 2021/22(1 July 2021-30 June 2022) season has reached 9.53 mln t. As reported by the Agrarian Ministry, commodities shipment as of 8 September intensified by 669 thou. t, 7.6% up YoY (8 Sep. 2020: 8.86 mln t).

As of 2 September, the new crop campaign was 64% completed in Ukraine. The average yield of grain and leguminous crops made up 4.39 t/ha.
In August 2021, the Port of Pivdenny shipped a record volume of grain for export—1.31 mln t—thus exceeding its previous maximum.

The UGA informed about 48.8 mln t of grains and oilseeds export from Ukraine in the 2020/21 season.
