STS commissioned grain elevator first phase in Sumy region

The company STS, a subsidiary of Trans Trade Group, has put into operation the first phase of a new grain elevator complex in V'yazove village of Sumy region. Its designed storage capacity is 25 thou. t.

Project Curator Gennadiy Klymenko told Latifundist that the total storage capacity of the grain elevator will reach 100 thou. t.

The elevator complex is currently equipped with two Variant Agro Build grain silos 12.5 thou. t each and transport equipment, two Bonfanti grain dryers.

Grain intake capacity is up to 5 thou. t per day.

"STS company's grain elevator is ready to receive corn. The enterprise will provide services to agricultural commodity producers, agricultural holdings and trading companies, without any restrictions," commented Gennadiy Klymenko.

The construction of two railroad tracks of the planned four is nearing completion in the territory of the enterprise. It will enable to fit up to 22 rail cars for loading.

The unloading station provides for simultaneous loading and weighing of two rail cars on different railroad tracks. Upon completion of the second phase of the elevator complex, the company will be able to ship unit trains consisting of 54 rail cars per day.

The second phase of construction is to start in the current year.

Previously reported that in the neighbouring Chernihiv region a 90,000 t grain elevator will be built.
