Grain logistics on Dnieper 2.4% down YoY in 2021

While the total volume of cargo traffic on Ukraine's main river, the Dnieper, grew in 2021, the amount of grain shipped on the river reduced to 3.61 mln t, 2.4% down YoY.
The gross volume of cargo turnover on the Dnieper in 2021 is 14.36 mln t, 3.11 mln t, or 28%, above the 2020 indicator, the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority reports.
Previously reported that Ascet Shipping increased the capacity of its transshipment river terminal in Dnipro in December 2021.
