Two maritime ports in Odesa region restrict harbour pilotage

The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) reports that as of Jan. 11 the majority of maritime ports in Ukraine operate with no restrictions with the exception of two ports in Odesa region:

  • Bilhorod-Dnistrovsk
  • Pivdenny

Harbour pilotage is restricted in these two ports due to rain.

Bystroye mouth, Bug-Dnipro-Lyman Canal (BDLC) and Kherson Sea Canal (KSC) are open.

In early December, administrations of four sea ports in Odesa region were forced to restrict operations with grain cargoes for adverse weather conditions.

Grains export from Ukraine as of Jan. 10 exceeded 33.5 mln t. Since the start of 2021/22, staples export is 23% up YoY.
