Grain export 2021/22: Ukraine ships 47.7 mln t of ag commodities to world markets
Staple grains export shipment from Ukraine since the start of the 2021/22(1 July 2021-30 June 2022) season has made up 47.7 mln t. As reported by the Agrarian Ministry, commodities shipment as of June 15 increased by 4.49 mln t, 10% up YoY.

Maritime ports of Ukraine have been blocked by russia since February 24, 2022, the day this country started a full-scale war against Ukraine.
As a reminder, wheat export from Ukraine in 2021/22 was limited to 25.3 mln t. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Agrarian Ministry and grain market participants. The Government also considers milling wheat export from the country. The decision was reported to be taken in January, but it has not happened yet.

The new crop progress in Ukraine as of 20 December came to 84.17 mln t of grains and legumes on 15.71 mln ha. The average yield made up 5.36 t/ha.
