Poultry factory in Mykolaiv region resumes operations

Snigurivka laying farm (Mykolaiv region) plans to resume production, the state regional administration of Snigurivka district reports.

In 2018, works on the reconstruction of poultry complexes started. The company specializes in the production of chicken eggs.

In January-February 2019, it is planned to commission four buildings with a design capacity of 150 thou. heads, and by the end of 2019 — 350 thou. heads. The projected production volume is 113 million eggs per year.

"This is a positive sign which means additional jobs and budget revenues for the city," commented Inna Boyko, the head of the district state administration.

In the year 2018, Ukraine exported 328.97 thou. tons of poultry meat, which is 21.24% more than the previous year.
