Grain export 2019/20: commodities trade volumes up 7.8 mln YoY

Staple grains export from Ukraine has reached 38.24 mln t since the start of 2019/20 (July 2019 – June 2020).
As of Feb. 14, agricultural commodities shipment increased by 7.79 mln t from the comparative period of the previous year, the information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine reports.
Grain export structure in the reporting period is as follows:
- wheat — 16.22 mln t (4.19 mln t more y-o-y);
- barley — 3.97 mln t (702 thou. t more y-o-y);
- corn — 17.57 mln t (3.05 mln t more y-o-y);
- rye — 5 thou. t (82.3 thou. t less y-o-y).
Previously reported that ag commodities export from Ukraine to the EU in 2019 increased 22% YoY and amounted to USD 19.2 bln.
