Grain export 2019/20: supply 25 pct higher since season's start

Staple grains export from Ukraine has reached 38.36 mln t since the start of 2019/20 (July 2019 – June 2020).
As of Feb. 17, agricultural commodities shipment increased by 7.54 mln t from the prior year's comparative period, the information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine reports.
Grain export structure in the reporting period is as follows:
- wheat — 16.23 mln t (4.07 mln t more y-o-y);
- barley — 3.96 mln t (694 thou. t more y-o-y);
- corn — 17.67 mln t (2.91 mln t more y-o-y);
- rye — 5 thou. t (82.4 thou. t less y-o-y).
Previously reported that in the period of December 2018 – November 2019 Ukraine exported agricultural products worth €7.3 bln to the European Union.
