LDC disposed of two grain elevators in Ukraine

Ukrainian Elevator Company sold two grain elevators in Vinnytsya and Zaporizhzhya regions of Ukraine, InVenture writes.

Pursuant to the YouControl analytical system, Louis Dreyfus Company Ukraine is the ultimate beneficiary of Ukrainian Elevator Company.

The company disposed of two most capacious facilities among its assets.

Gaisyn Grain Storage facility with a capacity of 72 thou. t in Vinnytsya region was acquired by Theeuwes Real Estate (Kyiv), a subsidiary of Dutch Theeuwes Holding B.V.

Mykhailivsky Grain Storage facility with a capacity of 98 thou. t in Zaporizhzhya region was bought by Dnipro-based Agromarket-A.

As a reminder, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) authorized AGROMARKET-A and Theeuwes Real Estate for the acquisition of assets of Ukrainian Elevator Company.

Transactions amount is not disclosed. According to InVenture estimates, the total value may reach USD 9-11 mln.

In late January 2020, LDC Chairwoman Margarita Louis-Dreyfus announced that the company was ready to selling a large non-controlling stake to an external stakeholder.
