Three importing countries account for half of Ukrainian corn supply in Jan-June

In the first half of 2020, Ukraine exported 18.54 mln t of corn for the amount of USD 3.13 bln.
Under the State Customs Service data, key importing countries in the period are:
- China: 3.89 Mt, USD 656.34 mln, 20.97% of the total supply
- Netherlands: 2.04 Mt, USD 344.18 mln, 11%
- Egypt: 1.95 Mt, USD 329.66 mln, 10.53%
- other: 10.66 mln t, USD 1.79 bln, 57.5%
Previously reported that China bought 765 thou. t of US corn for shipment in the current marketing year which ends Aug 31 and 600 thou. t for shipment in the following year.
