Harvest Online 2020: grains campaign 63% completed

As of August  27, agriproducers in Ukraine harvested 41.2 mln t of main crops on 10.94 mln ha, of which grains and legumes make up 38.4 mln t harvested on 9.68 mln ha, or 63% of the planned areas.

As provided by the data of the Harvest Online 2020 project, new crop progress is as followed:

  • wheat: 26.95 mln t on 6.56 mln ha (100%) using the average yield of 4.11 t/ha
  • barley: 8.79 mln t on 2.38 mln ha (100%) yielding 3.69 t/ha
  • peas: 516.2 thou. t on 237.7 thou. ha (100%) yielding 2.17 t/ha
  • millet: 29.8 thou. t on 15.9 thou. ha (11%) yielding 1.87 t/ha
  • sunflower: 221.5 thou. t on 150 thou. ha (2%) yielding 1.48 t/ha

Buckwheat harvesting has started in six regions of Ukraine: 19.77 thou. t on 11.29 thou. ha (15%) using the average yield of 1.75 t/ha.

Rapeseed campaign was completed on 1.11 mln ha (100%): 2.55 mln t, 2.29 t/ha.
