Harvest Online 2020: Ukraine's new crop grain close to 40 mln t

As of October 1, agriproducers in Ukraine harvested 51.8 mln t of main crops on 16.8 mln ha, of which grains and legumes total 39.9 mln t harvested on 10.8 mln ha, making up 70% of the planned areas.

As provided by the data of the Harvest Online 2020 project, new crop progress is as followed:

  • wheat: 25.1 mln t on 6.56 mln ha (100%) using the average yield of 3.83 t/ha
  • barley: 7.77 mln t on 2.38 mln ha (100%) yielding 3.26 t/ha
  • peas: 516.2 thou. t on 237.7 thou. ha (100%) yielding 2.17 t/ha
  • millet: 196.4 thou. t on 107.4 thou. ha (71%) yielding 1.83 t/ha
  • sunflower: 8.09 mln t on 4.24 mln ha (66%) yielding 1.91 t/ha
  • buckwheat: 83.7 thou. t on 63.6 thou. ha (81%) yielding 1.31 t/ha
  • soybean: 1.24 mln t on 617 thou. ha (46%) yielding 2.01 t/ha
  • corn: 4.47 mln t on 996 thou. ha (18%) yielding 4.48 t/ha

Rapeseed campaign was completed on 1.11 mln ha (100%): 2.55 mln t, 2.29 t/ha.

Sugar beet campaign on the reporting date progressed to 656.4 thou. t on 14.4 thou. ha (7%) using the average yield of 45.64 t/ha.
